Easy Screenprinting with Vinyl Workshop
Have you ever wanted to screenprint a cool shirt or poster with your own design? It's easier than you think! Learn how to make your design digital and create your own DIY screenprinting studio at home with the help of CNC technology.
This workshop covers screenprinting on paper and fabric using CNC-cut vinyl. Usually screenprinting requires the use of chemical processes to put an image on a screen to print a cool shirt or poster. However, this method only requires making a vinyl sticker. This is excellent for those casually interested in screenprinting. You will leave knowing how to design and screenprint your own projects! The workshop will encompass three sections:1: How to make a vector image appropriate for this process, using paper, sharpie, and a handy phone app 2: How to cut and apply the vinyl mask to a screen (what file types are necessary, where to find a machine to cut whether at home or in the community) 3: How to screenprint! (what materials are needed to screenprint, the proper way to apply the image, demo on how to use the squeegie and screen on fabric vs paper, tips for lining up multiple layers)
