Check out Robbie Dee's Tribute to Elvis at Taste Edmonds on the 42nd anniversary his death. (August 16, 1977)
Who: Robbie Dee's Tribute to Elvis
Where: Taste Edmonds on the Dining Stage
When: Friday, August 16th at 2:00pm
About: Robbie Dee has been an Elvis fan ever since seeing the movie “Blue Hawaii” as a teenager growing up in Edmonds, Washington. He was moved by the music and legend of Elvis Presley.
It wasn’t until the age of 27 that Robbie took the stage for the first time. After some persuasion from friends, Robbie sang “Viva Las Vegas” at a karaoke night. The audience went wild with chants of “Elvis, Elvis!” and Robbie was hooked.
In 2013, he was invited to a bigger stage to play with a live band at MoPop (formerly EMP/Experience Music Project). Robbie competed in the Seattle Elvis Invitationals – Seattle’s search for the best Elvis Tribute Artist. Playing to a packed house along with 20+ other Elvis Tribute Artists further encouraged Robbie‘s journey. In 2015, Robbie returned to the Invitationals and won the event – bringing down the house with his stunning rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Ever since then, he’s been performing at festivals, corporate events, private parties, and other venues throughout the Northwest. Robbie is known for his powerful vocal renditions of Elvis’ hits and his charming smile. Robbie enjoys and performs songs from Elvis’ entire career, including his early years (1950s), movie years (1960s), Comeback Special (1968), and Vegas years (1970s). Robbie is available to play as a solo artist or with his full band.
