Experience the healthful benefits of working with your hands in clay through pottery! Our 8 Week Pottery Class offers a fun and educational opportunity for you to work with clay for 8 weeks. This class is designed for individuals of all skill levels to come together and learn from professional potters.
The 8 week class offers a variety of instruction in pottery and sculpture making including wheel throwing, coil, slab, and pinch techniques with Cone 6 Firing temperatures making your pottery microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe! Have a special project in mind? Bring it to class and realize your vision through independent or guided instruction. Small class sizes offer plenty of one-on-one time with the teacher and ample amounts of open studio time during class. Experience is helpful but not necessary.

Time: Wednesday evenings 6-9pm
Teacher: Ash Atterberry – OSFP Studio Manager/ Ceramics Instructor–she is a local Bell’s Bend clay artist with a focus in handbuilding. While leaving evidence of the hand, she uses surface to tell tales through patterns and bold, slightly waivered lines. Many of her narratives and ideas for imagery come from walking in the woods, investigating plants and animals, and searching for treasure with her dog.
