Abby Wills MA, Co-Founder & Program Director of Shanti Generation brings 20 years experience working with youth and teachers in schools and communities. Her teachings are informed by extensive study and practice in the fields of yoga, mindfulness, child/human development and social change.
Laurie Cousins, UCLA CMF, is a mindfulness educator and integrative mind-body practitioner. She brings mindfulness into schools for students, parents, and teachers throughout the Los Angeles area and is a lead teacher for Susan Kaiser Greenland’s Inner Kids program. As the Family Programming Advisor for the La Maida Institute, she enjoys helping families transform through holistic, mindfulness and resiliency-based practices and communal support.
Anjali Deva is an NAMA-certified Ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher and the Director of Culture at La Maida Institute. She has been greatly fortunate to have been introduced to Ayurveda and Yoga at a young age by her father, Arun Deva. She has since gone on to train with Kerala Ayurveda Academy, Loyola Marymount’s Yoga and the Healing Sciences Program, and with teachers both in the United States and in India. Her journey began in the kitchen with a desire to understand how the food we eat influences our bodies and minds. This passion has now grown to include helping people find their inner wisdom, clarity and health through the wisdom of Ayurveda. Through self-care practices she hopes to help people find their inner harmony and resilience.
