Why Youth Mental Health First Aid?
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This workshop is valued at $170.00 and is sponsored by Pasadena Unified School District.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18 years old. This training is for adults who work with adolescents.
No children allowed.
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring snack or lunch. Also, please bring a sweater/jacket as the temperature may vary.

No, neither your fee nor ticket is transferrable. Please do not send a substitute if you are unable to attend.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No, the name on the ticket must match the registration as you will receive a certificate upon completion.
