Celebrate innovative teaching at Portland State University this year at Week of Teaching 2019. Join fellow PSU instructors at three days of workshops, social hours and share-outs, building community around teaching and learning. From interdisciplinary workshops led by your colleagues to dynamic course design sessions with instructional designers, you'll enjoy new professional development opportunities, get up to date on emerging PSU initiatives, and connect with fellow educators. Perks include special giveaways and raffles, complementary professional headshots, and a celebratory Week of Teaching happy hour at the Portland Art Museum.
Week of Teaching is open to all faculty, instructors, graduate teaching assistants, adjuncts, and staff. Participants are welcome to come and go throughout the days as their schedule allows. Coffee and tea and snacks will be provided each day. All events are first-come, first-serve, so plan to arrive early to claim your seat! For those participants not currently in Portland, select sessions will be available remotely. A full schedule of events will be released in September.
