Parent Only of Athlete Ages 13 and above.
Join experts in the field of sports and performance psychology to engage in interactive dialogue and workshop about mental skills training for sports and beyond.
How your child-athlete can benefit from mental skills training for performance on the field, in the classroom and beyond.
Now, more than ever, athletes seem to be struggling with pressures, expectations and distractions in all areas of their lives. Mental skills training provides a context where the athlete is motivated and engaged to learn, improve and cultivate these skills. As a bonus, these cognitive skills are also transferrable to academics, relationships and life beyond the sport.
In this workshop you’ll not only learn what cognitive skills are most related to optimal performance but also insight into how to apply those skills. For example, attention training, imagery techniques, emotional regulation.
