No Small Matter is the first feature documentary to explore the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for good in America today: early childhood education. The film sheds light on the importance of a child’s development before age five, and how the impact of learning at this age plays a role in lifelong opportunities. Children who are provided with early education opportunities do better in school as they grow older, and are more likely to attend college and be successful in their careers. However, the lack of high quality, affordable childcare has emerged as a serious challenge for families throughout our region.
