Presented by: Cha-Chi Fung, PhD from USC Keck School of Medicine
Location: T-229, Pacific Room, UW Health Sciences Library, Seattle or Zoom Conference Webinar
Description: Establishing a competency-based assessment structure is more than just developing tools to measure learner’s performance but changing the entire culture of medical education assessment as we have come to accept and cherish so dearly. Any validated and standardized assessment tool can fail to perform without robust rater training. Dr. Fung will share with us her experience in moving the assessment structure at her own institution from instrument development to hard lessons learned in the implementation process.
