This course is designed to help educate and resource community members to better support their friends and loved ones during the end of life process. This course is held over a weekend with classes on Saturday from 8-5 and Sunday from 8-5. The course offers training in the physical and emotional care of the dying and the surviving family and friends. Some of the topics we will cover are: body preparation, vigil presencing, active listening, holding sacred space, and companioning. This is not intended to offer training at a professional level. In order to create an intensive and fully supportive learning environment we keep the class size down to 8 so we encourage you to sign up soon. The course fee is $400, plus an additional site fee in some locations. To begin registration, please copy and paste the form link below. This course is a prerequisite to work with the Sacred Passing: Death Midwifery Service and to take the Death Doula Level 2 Course.
