Restorative Retelling Facilitation Workshop
Colleagues across the nation are using Separation and Loss Services’ non-proprietary individual and group therapy intervention, called Restorative Retelling. Restorative Retelling is a therapy model that emphasizes resilience, and focuses the bereaved on celebrating the living memory of their loved one.
In this day-long workshop, participants will learn:
Principles of the Restorative Retelling Model
To understand client assessments
To demonstrate processing skills when working with sudden, traumatic death survivors
To illustrate successful qualities of groups when working with survivors
CEU application for marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), mental health counselors (LMHCs), and social workers (LICSWs), has been submitted for 7 hours. Limited spaces available.
Sign in begins at 8 am. Light refreshments will be available in the morning and afternoon, and lunch is on your own.
