Are you curious about design thinking? Hungry to experience it for yourself? Don’t just watch from the sidelines – come give it a try.
We’re holding a public workshop on:
Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - 2:00-5:00 pm PT; tickets are $15
This workshop is open to anybody who has not taken a d.school course or workshop (or those who would like another "dip" in the introductory methods). All you have to do is register and show up. We’ll take it from there.
What: A hands-on, experiential, experimental design thinking experience. This IS going to be a fun and engaging experience with design thinking tools. This IS NOT a full cycle, faculty-led workshop.
Where: Stanford d.school, Building 550, 550 Panama Mall, Stanford University (directions). Parking on campus can be difficult to find and is not free. We encourage you to use public transit/Uber/Lyft. If you must drive, the closest paid public parking can be found at 459 Lagunita Drive or at Roble Field Garage (campus parking map here).
When: Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - 2:00-5:00 pm PT. Please allow at least 20 minutes to find a parking space and walk to the d.school; this hands-on learning experience will start on time!
Who: Open to the public. Come one, come all! Be ready to roll up your sleeves and get building. Our workshops fill up quickly due to high demand and spots are awarded on a first come, first served basis. If you hope to bring a friend or a group, all individuals MUST REGISTER.
Note: This workshop is student-led, introductory, and experimental; please arrive with an open mind. It will be most beneficial to those who speak English fluently and are at least 10 years old. Because of its introductory nature, this workshop is best for those new to design thinking.
// Please DO NOT bring heavy bags or burdensome laptops. Extra "stuff" will only get in your way!
We are excited to have you join us for this workshop!
