It's that time again, CGA friends and family! Time for our annual Northern Classic State Show, held at Sugarland Horse Park in Woodland, CA. This event is hosted by District 4- Circle D Horsemen. This show will be held over Memorial Day weekend, running all 13 events at least once (with some events being run twice). KEEP IN MIND: This event will hold a 5-D jackpot in each event. Don't forget to sign up for jackpots and earn lots of extra cash, in addition to high point.
We'll also be holding a raffle for LOTS of additional goodies, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
MUST ride 17 of the 19 events to qualify for high point.
We'll be running 2 arenas: Front Arena and Side Arean (brick house area)
Schedule of Events:
Gates open at 12 pm for all participants and vendors- NO EXCEPTIONS. See Timmi Lemen parking director for any questions you may have upon arrival.
NO ENTRY BEFORE 12 pm noon.
Set ups start at 4 pm. Order of events TBD.
Pony measurements are TBD, time will be announced during set ups, location: at the snack bar/ wash rack area.

GLOW PARTY! You dont want to miss this awesome get together. At dark, everyone will meet at the snack bar area decked out in their best, most creative glow gear to dance the night away and mingle, neon style! Dont forget to buy your glow sticks and glow gear now!
THEME- Wacky Tacky Day! Dress in your craziest, wackiest outfit and mismatched tack. Be sure to wear crazy socks for everyone to see and be entered into a raffle for wackiest dress and tackiest socks!

PRE- ENTRY must be postmarked by May 10, 2019 or $25 LATE FEE APPLIES.
STALLS are available by contacting Dawn at Sugarland Horse Park: 916-842-1579 or [email protected] and reserving direct with SHP or you may choose to bring your own portable panels.
PLEASE limit your portable stalls to 12x12 to ensure there is enough room for everyone.
PLEASE also limit your campsite to accommodate for all participants. Twice the width of your trailer is reasonable so please follow these guidelines so there is room for everyone.
SNACK BAR/CONCESSIONS: Pepes Mexican Food will be on site all weekend providing delicious Mexican cuisine, along with snacks and drinks.
PHOTOGRAPHER: Looking for a volunteer photographer to take photos for sale.
VENDORS: Vendors are welcome! Please note vendors are welcome to come for the entire weekend or just a day, if preferred. We do ask for a $30 donation in cash or donation towards our raffle, for all vendors, in lieu of a vendor fee.
RULES: (just a few)
NO tying to your trailer overnight. Your horse must be in a portable corral or stall provided by SHP.
NO arrival before 12 pm on Friday.
NO dogs off leashes, at any time, during the entire weekend and no vicious dogs- Please refrain from bringing.
NO division changes after the first event starts.
NO refunds after June 7, 2019
NO refunds without medical or vet certificates
NO riding outside of your division during an event (STATE SHOW RULE)
NO entering below your rated division. Must ride in your rated division or above.
NO schooling rides or schooling while on course (STATE SHOW RULE)
NO bad attitudes or complaining- be a part of the solution!
Please keep in mind that this is a HUGE event, with lots of moving parts and from time to time, things may not go as planned. Sometimes changes need to be made so be patient, give a helping hand and understand that this is possible due to all volunteers. The more we all help, the faster and more smoothly the show will go. Most of all, HAVE FUN!
