Yankee Ladies Chapter of Women in Aviation, Yankee Air Museum, Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, and the Leslie Nature & Science Center present a Teen's Aviation Exploration Day at the Yankee Air Museum Hangar at Historic Willow Run Airport. All Middle & High School students are invited to join us to explore Aviation Careers, History, Aerodynamics, and Airplanes.
-Meet with pilots, mechanics, and other airline professionals-Tour the remaining 10% of the historic Willow Run Bomber plant and learn about the production of the B-24 Bomber during WWII-Study live birds of prey and learn about how scientists can use nature to inspire engineering and design-Meet other teens from the area who are intersted in aviation, engineering, and STEM
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
ID is not required however we ask that the students are Middle & High School students. All of the material is focused to older students.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is free at the Hangar, however this is no public transportation available to the Hangar, so please coordinate appropriately.

There will be no refunds, no exceptions.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No you do not, we will have a list of registered students.

Yes, please email us at [email protected] to let us know any changes to the tickets.
What should I wear to the event?
Please wear clothing that will be seasonably appropirate. The hangar tends to be cooler than outside and please wear closed toe shoes as there will be walking on uneven ground.
